Live Plants vs. Silk Plants
Many times, I was asked about live plants vs. silk plants. My first question is always, do you have the elusive “Green Thumb?” the vast majority replied, “Absolutely not.” Whereas I believe live healthy plants are beautiful, they require a lot of time to care for and cannot be placed where you want them because of air vents, etc., so instead, I suggest trying a smaller mixture of live plants and silk plants. Purchase good quality silk plants and trees. Unless you’re good at arranging silk plants, have them made to order. Regardless of what you hear any professional say, be honest with yourself or start slowly, learning to care for the live plants you want.
